Do you find it hard to Commit to Change?
You have to make a decision to take the First Step.
Step in and Go Change does not happen quickly but the first step only takes a minute. Change does not have to mean it is bad to good, could be from Great to Greater. Don’t like your body? Don’t Like Your relationship? Don’t Like Your job? Then – CHANGE IT.
Most of us have a Fear of Failure.
Fear is probably this biggest obstacle and our biggest enemy that hold us back from truly living at our full potential and at our best.
Fear starts with self-doubt. Have you ever had a great idea one day and then the next morning. Say “Maybe I shouldn’t really do this or that was really was kind of a stupid idea I can not do that or that would not really work?”
Have you ever caught yourself asking if you really should bother going to the gym, joining martial arts, lifting weights, eating better or going for that new job? If so it’s okay everyone does have self doubt.
One of the most common things I hear when someone is starting to look at our program is “I want to get in shape first.” I want to say, “Well your not in shape yet and that is what this program does.” What they are truly are saying is “I am afraid I am going to fail.” I know that you feel that way, and our team helps then to overcome that and get the step in the door and going.
But remember this, if you fail to even try, then you’ll be exactly where you’ve always been. You might not fail, but you also won’t grow. You won’t learn. You will remain where you are. Are you happy with that?
On our front wall at the Academy it says Progress not Perfection – I tell my members all the time you don’t have to perform you just need to consistently participate.
Wake up Everyday to Reach for Success
Each and everyday you have to have a mindset of Go for it. A Journey of 1000 Miles starts with a single step. So don’t think too much. Instead, commit to a decision, act on it and move yourself forward. The Guru Tony Robbins has a great Quote: “Daily action ignites the momentum that creates lasting change”
Don’t do it alone, find a Mentor
You don’t have to do this alone. Committing to change is easier when you face it with someone who’s been there. I have many instructors and mentors in my life. I have two mentors and Invest finances and time to them because I know they can help me reach where I want to be in my life.
So find someone who has achieved the results that you want. Combine that with an Inspired group of like minded people that are on the same path and your involved in a winning environment. One of the unique things about our FitBoxing program is our coaches are former members that came to use looking to change their life. They were in the same pain spot in life and were just like the new members that come to us looking for change in their life.
Decide and make the Commitment to Change
What’s one small decision you could make right now that would take you in the direction you need to go? Then define multiple tiny steps that lead to the one big change you want to see in your life.
Remind yourself that these tiny steps to larger steps will lead you into a new direction in your life. Put them on paper. Each day follow those steps and affirm them as your reality.
They aren’t just words in your mind anymore. They are now powerful words on paper, a list you can look at again and again. Those words are now a promise to yourself
So hey, today go do something that your future self will thank you for !
Make it a great day!
PS: If you are looking for an inspired crowd, looking to get in great shape, and gain confidence, my team and I are here for you!
